Above all else, the latest film to which Gwyneth Paltrow has just signed on will be a lot more fun for her to make than the one she has hitting theaters on Friday.

The Oscar-winning, 9/11 woman-saving actress, who quickly catches a rare virus, breaks out into seizures and dies in Stephen Soderbergh's "Contagion," wasannounced on Wednesday as the latest member in the cast of "Thanks For Sharing."

Paltrow joins Mark Ruffalo and Tim Robbins in a film about sex addicts working to break the habit in a 12-step recovery support group; Paltrow will play a businesswoman who falls for Mark Ruffalo's character, Variety reports. Former "Nip/Tuck" star Joely Richardson also boards a picture that was co-written, and will be directed by, Stuart Blumberg, who scored an Oscar nomination for his "The Kids Are All Right" screenplay.

Paltrow is wrapping work on "The Avengers," the Marvel superhero teamup movie; as Pepper Potts, she joins Robert Downey, Jr. in representing the "Iron Man" franchise in the mega-film.
