Pics from Lake Bell, Joseph Gordon-Levitt get early fest slots

The Sundance Film Festival posted its full screening schedule Friday night, stacking the front half of the fest with high-profile indies after drama "May in the Summer" and music docu "Twenty Feet From Stardom" christen the Eccles Theatre on Jan. 17.

Joseph Gordon Levitt's directorial debut "Don John's Addiction" will play at the main venue on Friday the 18th, while Saturday night brings Michael Winterbottom's "The Look of Love," starring Steve Coogan as an impresario of gentlemen's clubs and erotica, to the big house.

A pair of high-profile titles premiere on Sunday the 20th, with Variety's 10 Directors to Watch honoree David Lowery's "Ain't Them Bodies Saints," starring Rooney Mara, Ben Foster and Casey Affleck, bowing midday at the Eccles; Lake Bell's voiceover comedy "In a World" will show in the evening at the Library Center Theatre.

"May in the Summer," which stars Alexander Siddig and Hiam Abbass, was announced as one of four opening night films earlier this month. It follows a young novelist (writer-director Cherien Dabis) who finds herself confronting the trauma of her parents divorce as her own wedding to a Muslim man is fast approaching. Pic will be followed at the Eccles by "Stardom," which follows pop music's backup singers through the decades.

Those who stick around until the last day of the festival to catch up on missed movies will be able to choose from "jOBS," "The East," "The Way, Way Back," "Linsanity," "Sweetwater," "Sound City" and "The Inevitable Defeat of Mister and Pete."
