Jason Momoa, Thomas Middleditch and Famke Janssen Join Bruce Willis in Action Comedy (Exclusive)

Jason MomoaThomas Middleditch and Famke Janssen are in negotiations to join Bruce Willis in an untitled action comedy being directed by Mark and Robb Cullen, who wrote Willis’ Cop Out.

Nicolas ChartierZev Foreman and Lauren Ford will be producing, with the movie eyeing a late-June start in Los Angeles. Patrick Newall will serve as executive producer. The Cullens also are producing.

Willis is set to star as a private eye in Los Angeles whose professional and personal worlds collide when his dog is stolen by a gang.

Momoa is in negotiations to play a gang leader who ends up with the dog and forces the private eye to do some jobs for him.

Middleditch is in negotiations to play a geek working in Willis’ one-man operation.

Janssen will play Willis’ sister-in-law.

Momoa, who stars in SundanceTV’s The Red Road, nabbed the high-profile role of Aquaman last year and will portray the DC character in a series of tentpole movies, starting with the upcomingBatman v Superman.

Middleditch is the star of HBO’s Silicon Valley and has two recent indies under his belt: horror comedy The Final Girls and Sundance comedy The Bronze.

Janssen  who is repped by ICM Partners, Brookside Artist Management and Morris Yorn recently appeared in Taken 3 and Netflix’s Hemlock Grove.
