Voltage announces Code Name Geronimo sales

EXCLUSIVE: Nicolas Chartier has licensed the Cam Gigandet and William Fichtner action-thriller to StudioCanal for the UK and closed a host of key deals as US buyers circle a new trailer.

John Stockwell is directing Code Name Geronimo from a screenplay by Kendall Lampkin about the Navy SEAL mission that resulted in the death of Osama Bin Laden. The film shot in New Mexico and is currently in post.

Deals have closed in German-speaking Europe (Falcom), Canada (eOne), Portugal (Lusomundo), Singapore (Shaw), Taiwan (SSG), CIS (DT), Eastern Europe (Grandview), Middle East (Gulf), China (HGC), South Africa (Ster Kinekor), Indonesia (PT Amero), Malaysia and the Philippines (PT Parkit), India (PVR), Thailand (IPA), Turkey (Kalinos) and Latin American pay-TV (Polar Star).

The cast includes Robert Knepper, Anson Mount, Freddy Rodriguez, Eddie Kay Thomas, Xzibit and Kathleen Robertson.

Chartier is producing alongside his Hurt Locker executive producer Tony Mark and Killer Joe executive producer Zev Foreman.

Voltage’s sales slate includes the action-comedy Caliwith Kristen Stewart, Joseph Gordon Levitt’s directorial debut Don Jon’s Addiction and The Necessary Death Of Charlie Countryman starring Shia LaBeouf and Evan Rachel Wood.
