Stefanie Scott Joins Pierce Brosnan Starrer ‘I.T.’ Stefanie Scott is continuing to branch out from her Disney Channel roots, booking a co-starring role in Voltage Pictures’ revenge thriller I.T. that stars Pierce Brosnan and is being directed by John Moore. She will play Brosnan’s daughter in the pic, about a successful owner of a private jet business who finds himself pitted against a disgruntled young I.T. consultant who begins stalking his daughter and using technology to threaten his family, business and life. The role of the baddie has not been cast. David T. Friendly, Craig Flores, Nicolas Chartier and Brosnan’s Irish Dreamtime partner Beau St. Clair are producing and eyeing a June start in Ireland. Moore came on as director in August with William Wisher (Terminator 2), who rewrote the script. The project originally was out to buyers at the 2013 AFM with Italian helmer Stefano Sollima attached. Scott, who starred on the Disney Channel series A.N.T. Farm for its run that ended last year, is up next in a couple of Blumhouse pics: the Focus horror sequel Insidious: Chapter 3 (release date: June 5) and Universal’s Jem And The Holograms (October 23). She is repped by Gersh, More/Medavoy and Sloane, Offer, Weber & Dern.
